Nicely done! It has an Edward Hopper feel to it. You did a great job capturing the light.
Beautifully handled, Cathleen.
Just beautiful, Cathleen. I want the house...the yard...that exquisitely painted rich green tree on the right...Just divine!
I love the shadow color and the color in the light, this is a little gem!
Glad to have found your blog....love your landscapes--you're right--they do have so much emotional content to them.
such beautifully squared up strokes...it could not be better!
What a wonderful blog you have, I like your paint application.
When I first say this painting I thought it was MY most recent painting which I just posted on my blog. I hope you'll take a look . . . it's kind of uncanny!

This is so simple and yet so strong. Just the view of the thumbnail is a testament to the success of the composition. Nice work.
